01Who controls your personal data
Aviz Tech Solutions FZ-LLC, located at Al Hulaila Industrial Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates and operating the AVIZTECH brand, is the controller of personal data described in this policy unless a separate written agreement identifies another party.
This policy applies to aviztech.com, its English and Arabic pages, contact and RFQ forms, the RFQ basket, technical-guideline selectors, career applications, and related communications initiated through the website. It does not govern an independent manufacturer, logistics provider, social platform, or third-party website that publishes its own privacy notice.
02Personal data we collect
We collect data that is relevant to a business enquiry, technical evaluation, recruitment process, or secure website operation.
- Contact and identity data
- Your name, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, job title, country, preferred language, and any contact details you choose to provide.
- RFQ and engineering data
- Selected products, quantities, product URLs, project type, industry, timeline, production volume, target office, budget indication, PCB or line requirements, utilities, attachments mentioned in your message, and technical notes.
- Career application data
- Name, email, phone, current country, selected position, experience, availability, message, and the CV file you submit. A CV may contain additional information you chose to include.
- Website and security data
- IP address submitted with contact, RFQ, and career requests; request time; requested URL; rate-limit and anti-abuse signals; and standard technical records that may be generated by the hosting or security provider.
- Browser storage
- The RFQ basket and consent preferences are stored locally in your browser. Optional analytics, advertising, or preference storage is enabled only after the relevant choice where those services are configured.
The website does not provide user accounts or online payment checkout and is not intended to collect card or bank-account data. Do not place payment credentials, passwords, government identifiers, health data, or unrelated sensitive information in free-text fields.
03Why we process personal data
We rely on consent where consent is required. We may also process data where necessary to respond to your requested steps, enter into or perform a contract, meet a legal obligation, protect information security or legal rights, or for another ground permitted by applicable UAE law. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
- Responding to you
- To review enquiries, prepare engineering recommendations, qualify an RFQ, communicate about products and services, arrange meetings, and provide requested follow-up.
- Pre-contract and contract work
- To take steps you request before a quotation or contract, administer an accepted commercial relationship, coordinate OEM or service partners, and maintain relevant business records.
- Recruitment
- To assess a candidate for the selected position, communicate about the application, and manage a fair recruitment process.
- Security and compliance
- To prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, investigate security events, protect legal rights, comply with UAE legal obligations, and respond to competent authorities where lawfully required.
- Measurement and preferences
- Where configured and permitted by your choices, to understand website performance, remember preferences, and measure communications or campaigns.
04Cookies, local storage, and Google consent
Essential browser storage supports the RFQ basket, security, and consent record. The basket remains in the browser until you remove its items or clear browser storage. The consent record stores your category choices and the date of the choice.
Optional categories cover analytics, advertising, and preferences. They are denied by default in Google Consent Mode and become granted only after the corresponding choice. AVIZTECH may use Google or similar services only where they are actually configured; a consent choice does not by itself mean every optional service is active.
You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer at any time. Browser settings can also remove local storage, but doing so may clear your RFQ basket and consent record.
05Who may receive personal data
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and do not sell or rent personal data.
- Website hosting, cybersecurity, email, communications, and technical support providers acting for AVIZTECH.
- Relevant equipment manufacturers, distributors, engineering partners, service partners, logistics providers, or installers when needed to assess or fulfil your specific request.
- Professional advisers such as legal, accounting, insurance, and audit providers under appropriate confidentiality duties.
- Government, regulatory, judicial, customs, or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required or lawfully requested.
- A successor or transaction counterparty in a lawful corporate restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.
06International and cross-border processing
An SMT project may require communication with manufacturers, service partners, cloud providers, or logistics providers located outside the UAE. Personal data may therefore be processed in another country when this is necessary for your request or for the operation of the website.
Where UAE law requires safeguards for a cross-border transfer, AVIZTECH will use an available lawful mechanism, such as an adequate protection framework, contractual safeguards, explicit consent where appropriate, or another transfer ground allowed by law. We limit the data shared to the relevant commercial or technical purpose.
07How long we retain data
When the purpose and applicable retention requirement end, data is deleted, securely disposed of, or anonymised. Backup deletion may occur on a controlled cycle rather than immediately.
- Enquiries and RFQs
- For the active enquiry, quotation, reasonable follow-up, and any subsequent commercial relationship, then for the period needed for legal, tax, warranty, dispute, and record-keeping obligations.
- Career applications
- For the active recruitment process and a reasonable period for related or future opportunities, unless you request earlier deletion or a longer period is required or permitted by law.
- CV attachments
- The application endpoint sends the CV as an email attachment and does not intentionally save the file to persistent website storage. The recruiting mailbox and its service providers may retain it according to the recruitment period above.
- Security records
- For the short operational or investigation period reasonably required to prevent abuse, maintain service security, and evidence an incident or legal claim.
- Browser records
- The RFQ basket and consent record remain on your device until changed, removed, or cleared through the browser.
08How we protect data
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Measures may include access controls, validation, rate limiting, secure transport, restricted administrative access, provider due diligence, backups, and incident handling.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe data submitted through AVIZTECH is at risk, contact us promptly and do not resend sensitive material through an unsecured channel.
09Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, verification, and lawful exceptions, you may request:
We may request information needed to verify identity and protect other individuals. A request may be limited or refused where the law permits, including to protect security, third-party privacy, legal claims, investigations, or mandatory records. You may also raise a concern with the UAE Data Office or another competent authority where applicable.
- Information about the personal data being processed, its purposes, recipients, retention criteria, safeguards, and relevant processing activity.
- Correction or completion of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure where the data is no longer necessary, consent has been withdrawn, or another statutory ground applies.
- Restriction or cessation of processing in circumstances recognised by law.
- A portable, machine-readable copy of eligible data and transfer to another controller where technically feasible.
- Withdrawal of consent and objection to direct marketing.
- Human review of a qualifying automated decision. AVIZTECH does not currently use the website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
10Recruitment and CV information
Career applications are used only for recruitment, candidate communication, workforce planning, legal compliance, and related record keeping. Hiring personnel and relevant managers may review the application. A specialist recruitment or technology provider may support the process under appropriate controls.
Please include only information relevant to professional suitability. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data. References, background checks, identity documents, or work-permit data will be requested separately only when appropriate and lawful; they are not required in the initial website form.
11Children and third-party links
The website is designed for business users and job applicants and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from anyone under 18 through the RFQ or career workflows.
Product pages may identify third-party manufacturers or link to external services. Their privacy practices are controlled by those parties. Review the relevant third-party notice before providing personal data outside AVIZTECH.
12Policy changes and contact
We may revise this policy when website functions, providers, business processes, or legal requirements change. The effective date and version at the top identify the current publication. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate website notice where required.
